JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced Siebel CRM Product manager for our Portal product with Siebel CRM implementation experience in Telcos. The Product Manager would be responsible for the Product planning and execution throughout the Product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing Product and Customer requirements, defining the Product vision. This includes ensuring that the Product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. RESPONSIBILITIES, JOB ACTIVITIES, DESIRED OUTCOMES • Define, develop and own the features and functionality for a product or a product line across the product lifecycle • Own the Product deliverables such as Product Requirements Document (PRD), feature detail documents, Product Overview Document • Assist in project estimation activities by validating features set, release scope and estimates review. • Help with resource allocation planning and deliverable scheduling for product development activities within product team • Track project on a continuous basis against metrics. • Perform feature validation for completed features. • Prioritize Defects, Service Requests and Customer Change requests. • Participate in new business development activities. • Participate in customer events like annual customer conferences and road shows. Present product feature sets, new features and roadmap to customers. SKILL WHICH WILL GIVE AN ADVANTAGE • Strong experience and knowledge of Implementing Siebel CRM • At least 2 implementation in Siebel CRM at a Telecom operator • Strong telecom domain background would be an advantage. • Thorough understanding of the needs of the business. • Ability to pro-actively gather market trends & competition and comparative mapping • Knowledge of SOA, ESB, is essential • Excellent leadership skills and communication skills • Experience of having worked with or any agile development methodology is desirable • Provide product vision and leadership for a team of business analysts working on multiple products / product lines. YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • 10 + years of software industry experience in Product development organizations/CSP • 3+ years of product management experience
