| Test Engineer Job in Bangalore Company: Client of Compare Source Info Company Profile: CMM Level 4 Company Responsibilities: He / she will be responsible for testing the billing related applications. This includes: · Designing Test cases, Test system set-up, test execution and test report generation · Good knowledge of testing, familiarity with server-side set-up / configuration, database and UNIX / Solaris knowledge required for testing, familiarity of software processes. Required Skills: · Operating Systems: Linux, UNIX, Solaris · Application server: Tomcat, Oracle Application Server · Database: MS SQL, Oracle 9i or above · Scripting: SQL, PL/SQL, Perl · Programming language: J2EE, C · Good awareness of QA process and methodologies · Should have hands-on experience in understanding the requirements and to generate test cases · Should have exposure to Black box testing - Ability to troubleshoot software defects and identify root causes · Excellent written and verbal communications skills Additional Skills: · Awareness on test automation tools like Silk, WinRunner, QA Runner etc · Knowledge on Defect tracking tools like Bugzilla etc · Understanding of Networking and Internet technologies Experience: 2 – 3 years.
